A Bit About Me

Hello

I’m Carrie — which you probably already figured out if you landed on this page... But the real question you’re probably asking is:

Who is this woman really… and why should I trust her with my business?

Fair question.

So here’s Carrie in a nutshell.

I’ve lived in Western North Carolina most of my life, and I love the mountains, the seasons, and the slower pace of life here. I’m happiest outside with a cup of coffee & taking a walk, reading a good book, or working on my porch when the weather is irresistible. I’ve always loved animals (sometimes to an excessive degree if you ask my family). Over the years our home has included dogs, birds, chickens, goats, and a few other creatures that usually made the neighbors curious.

Most importantly though, I’m a wife, a mom, a stepmom, and a very proud nana. ❤️ which is why building a business that works around family matters so much to me.

When my son was born, I stepped away from traditional work so I could stay home with him and homeschool for several years - a season I’ll always be grateful for.

Eventually though, the pull to build something of my own came back.

When I discovered the world of online business, I leaned into Facebook and Instagram ads as a specialty, training with respected mentors, earning my Elite Ad Certification, and eventually working with Adrienne Richardson and then the team at The Ad Girls agency. I saw firsthand how ads, messaging, and funnels all have to work together to grow a business.

When someone trusts you with their advertising budget, you learn quickly that every dollar needs to work.

But life has a way of telling you when it's time for something to change.

It became clear my nervous system needed a different pace.

So I stepped away.

Not from the work — but from the pace of it.

Because I still love this work.

I love helping business owners show the world their products and services, and solving the marketing puzzles that help those businesses grow. But I also know how overwhelming marketing a business can feel.

That’s why I built Mama & Me Marketing— to offer clear strategy, honest communication, and thoughtful ad management without the extra agency layers.

More specifically,

about the work...

Ads aren’t magic. They’re leverage.

Like any tool, they work best when the foundation around them is solid — the offer, the messaging, the audience, and the expectations.

When I partner with someone, I’m not chasing trends or promising overnight wins. I’m looking at the bigger picture and making steady, informed decisions based on real data.

You can expect honesty from me — even when the answer isn’t what someone hoped to hear.

Sometimes the best move is scaling what’s working.
Sometimes it’s adjusting the funnel.
And sometimes it’s realizing an idea isn’t converting the way we expected - and saving a lot of ad dollars because we caught it early.

My goal is simple:

Help good businesses get seen, grow profitably, and still enjoy the life they’re building the business for.

No hype. No inflated promises.
Just thoughtful strategy and consistent improvement.

So that's me.

A porch-working, coffee-drinking strategist who genuinely enjoys helping good businesses grow.

Most days you’ll find me working with a warm drink nearby, a dog at my feet, and probably a candle burning somewhere in the house.

If that sounds like the kind of partner you’d like guiding your ads, I’d love to talk.

And if not - thank you for stopping by and getting to know a little bit of my story anyway.

You can follow along on social media, sign up to receive my emails, or just reach out if you have a question. 😊

No bots here. Just me.
